RicoBel offers an affordable One-Stop relocation service for individuals, small businesses and corporations.

In Japan, most administrative procedures can be complicated if you don’t speak the language as not many people speak English. So here’s where we come in.

We aim to make your transition to Japan as comfortable as possible from house-hunting to settling down in Tokyo.

After consulting with you about your residential preferences in Tokyo, we will accompany you to view properties listed by real estate agents who specialize in housing for expats. We work with one of the biggest agencies in this field, so you can count on us to find the ideal place for you and your family.

 Resident registration
This is a very important requirement after moving into your house in Japan. We will accompany you to the city center word office with you and assist in your (and your family’s) resident registration.

 Opening a bank account
There are several banks in Tokyo which have English support. We will go to the bank of your choice together to open an account. Normally, your account will be processed on the same day.

 Phone / SIM card application
You will definitely need a mobile phone here in Japan. We will go to a retail outlet to purchase a new phone or SIM card. We, of course, will explain all the features of the different carriers, types of SIM cards and phones.

 Converting your driving license
If you plan to drive in Japan, it’s necessary to convert your current driving license to a Japanese one. It’s almost impossible to do it alone if you don’t speak Japanese since the registration center does not normally have English support. We will bring you to the driver’s license center and help you through all the formalities.

If this is your first time to move to Japan, there are many things which you should know. We will provide you all the necessary information regarding Japan and the Japanese culture to let you prepare to settle in.

 Area orientation/guide
Once you’ve decided where to live, We will take you on a tour around the area and show you all the essential facilities, for instance, the nearest supermarket, clinic or hospital, ATM machine, train station etc. If you wish to commute by train, we can show you where to take the train to your office, and help you purchase a train pass.

 Moving-in/out inspection
In Japan, it’s very important to maintain your property in a clean and proper manner. Before moving in, we will inspect the property for any defects to make sure you are not charged when you move out. When it comes to the moving-out inspection, we will try to negotiate with the landlord to reduce the charge (if any) to the minimum.

 Shopping support
If you would like to purchase electrical appliances, food, furniture etc. we will help you with the shopping.

 Furniture leasing support
Many expats prefer renting furniture to purchasing. We will assist you with the leasing of the best furniture for you.

 Additional services available upon request
Our strength is in our flexibility. If you need any further assistance, such as finding an international school for your child, finding a cultural school, finding a tour guide, adopting a dog from a shelter, finding a golf course… don’t hesitate to ask us. We would love to support your needs and help you settle in.

Our fees are set as reasonable and affordable.
